July 31, 2018 Town of Ballston Zoning Board Discussion Notes

Ballston Town Board Zoning Discussion
notes taken by a town resident on 7/31/18

There was a motion for the eminent domain (for the lake sewer project) to use the Lawyer Trainer, might be misspelled that was recommended by Kim.

She did not come back to the meeting. He will charge $225.00 per hour. All voted Aye.

The water contracts for Glenville will be forwarded for signatures.

Sophia has some areas of concern for the TDR's; the mobile homes, and junk yards.

Sophia would like to know what the board 's thoughts are before she continues.

Bill Goslin replied that after 14 months of reviewing, he would like to recommend that they continue and that there needs to be some closure. Either to agree on changes or agree on more discussions. He said there is a 38-step process and it is unfair to everyone including the residents of the town to still not have passed them. The board needs to solve what they can and form another committee to what is not resolved.

The topic of signs will be discussed later. The sign code has a lot of topics and decisions.
